Why Nyamiyaga Community Women’s Fellowship (NCWF) Ministries

BACKGROUND

In Nyamiyaga and Kasokoso, where we have lived, many women face tough challenges. We've seen this firsthand through careful research. These women struggle with lots of problems, like not having enough money, being sick, and feeling left out by society. Some are very poor and turn to alcohol and prostitution to cope, while others are widows dealing with the loss of their husbands, single mothers and also being sick with HIV/AIDS. Even if they're married, they often feel like they have to handle everything on their own. This shows just how hard their lives can be.

Our mission is deeply rooted in the transformative power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We endeavor to infuse hope,
healing, and deliverance into the lives of women within our community through evangelism and practical acts of love. By nurturing spiritual growth, providing mentorship, and offering practical skills training, we seek to equip these women to become catalysts for positive change
within their families and broader society.

The overarching vision of the Nyamiyaga Community Women’s Fellowship is to
extend the compassionate arm of Christ to every woman within our community.
Inspired by the timeless wisdom encapsulated in Proverbs 31:10 31, our aim is to cultivate a generation of virtuous women who are spiritually grounded, economically empowered, and socially uplifted.
